Assignment 22A - Elevator Pitch No. 3

I unfortunately did not receive any feedback on the last elevator pitch that I uploaded to my blog. Some self-criticism that I can provide myself with is to speak clearer and slower, enunciate your words, and try not to stutter when speaking. If I can fix these issues in my elevator pitches, I would be able to better myself and present myself better as a whole. After completing the third elevator pitch, I can say that I have my script almost memorized. There are a few things that I would like to change to it, but overall, I believe that it is strong. I can also admit to being very comfortable in front of a camera after completing all three of my elevator pitches. Overall, from my first elevator pitch to my third elevator pitch, I can truly say that I have improved my style and techniques and I cannot wait to apply them to real-life situations.

    Hi Alexandra! I really liked your pitch, especially at the beginning since it’s basically a truth and very relatable. The only criticisms I can provide is that your dress wasn’t professional and that I think you could’ve used more vocal inflections to seem more energetic and into your product and also project a sense of urgency of how dangerous radiation from our cellphones can be. Other than that, great job!

Assignment 12A - Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 1

Choosing a segment: For this specific assignment, I chose the segment of young drivers. All of the drivers that I interviewed have new cars and they paid extra to get the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto option. These drivers are all college-aged students that mostly travel to campus. These individuals had mostly positive things to say about their experiences. There were some topics that they brought up to make changes to their user experience. Interviews: -        Adrian, 18-year-old college student, has great experience using Apple CarPlay with his iPhone. ·       WHO: While completing my interviews, I realized that there are two main groups of people who fall outside of the boundary. One group consists of the elder generation that refuses to learn the technology that comes equipped in their vehicles. I interviewed a 60-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man. Both of these individuals drive new vehicles that are equipped with Bluetooth. Neither of these individuals have even bothered to figure out how the Bluetooth option works in each of their vehicles.
